CamGirl Privacy Policy
What CamGirl collects when you use live video chat, what it is used for, and what you can ask us to do about it.
The one thing worth knowing up front: the biggest privacy risk on any video chat platform is not the platform's database — it is what you show and say to the person on the other side, which they can capture with a second device no matter what we do. The Safety Center is the practical companion to this page.
1. Scope
This policy covers the CamGirl website and product. Third parties CamGirl relies on — payment processors, analytics providers, infrastructure — handle data under their own policies. External sites linked from CamGirl are not covered here.
2. What Is Collected
Information you provide
Account details when you register, profile content you choose to add, messages you send through the platform, purchase information when you buy coins or VIP, and anything you include in a support request or report.
Information collected automatically
Technical and usage data that comes with running a web product: device and browser, general location inferred from network information, IP address, pages viewed, features used, and diagnostic data when something errors.
Camera and microphone
Live video and audio are transmitted to the person you are connected with, for the duration of that conversation. Your browser asks for camera and microphone permission first, and only when you are about to use them — granting it is your choice, and text or voice-only matching is supported precisely so you are not forced onto camera.
Cookies
Cookies and similar technologies keep you signed in, remember preferences, support security, and measure usage. Categories and browser controls are in the Cookie Policy.
3. Why It Is Used
- To operate the product — accounts, matching, chat, translation, gifts
- To process payments and manage coins and VIP
- To keep the platform safer — reviewing reports, investigating fraud and abuse
- To fix problems and improve what is not working
- To respond to your support, privacy and legal requests
- To meet legal obligations
4. What Other Users See
Your profile, and what appears on your camera, are visible to people you connect with — including anyone who finds you while browsing live profiles. Profile content may be discoverable within the platform.
Once shown to another person, that content is outside our control. No platform setting can recall it, and screen recording or a second device works regardless of what the product does. This is why the guidance is to share gradually — a rule about your own judgment, not a technical control we can offer.
5. Sharing
Information may be shared with:
- Service providers operating parts of the product — infrastructure, payment processing, analytics — under their own obligations
- Other users, to the extent described in section 4
- Authorities, where required by law or where necessary to address illegal activity or a risk to someone's safety
- A successor, if the business or its assets change hands
Reports you submit go to the safety team for review; they are not delivered to the reported user as a message from you.
6. Retention
Data is kept while your account is active and for as long as needed for the purposes above — including keeping safety, fraud and billing records where an obligation or a dispute requires it. Retention therefore differs by data type; a single global figure would be inaccurate, so this page does not invent one. Ask support about a specific case.
7. Your Choices
- Camera and microphone — grant or revoke permission in your browser at any time; use text or voice instead
- Cookies — clear or block them in your browser (see the Cookie Policy)
- Profile — control what you add, and share less
- Blocking — stop a specific person contacting you
- Access, correction, deletion — request these from support
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your data. Write from the address on the account; we may need to verify you are the account holder before acting — that check exists to stop someone else requesting your data.
8. Security
CamGirl takes measures intended to protect data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse.
Being straight with you rather than reassuring: no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and anyone claiming otherwise is overselling. You protect your side by using a strong unique password, never sharing verification codes, and treating any request for either as an attempt to take your account — including from someone claiming to be CamGirl staff, which is a scam pattern documented in the Safety Center.
9. Minors
CamGirl is for adults meeting the age requirement in the Terms of Service, and is not directed at children. If you believe a minor is using the platform, report it so the account can be reviewed and removed.
10. International Transfers
CamGirl operates online and the service providers behind it may process data in countries other than yours, where data-protection law may differ. Using CamGirl involves that transfer.
11. Changes
This policy changes as the product does. Continued use after an update means accepting it; material changes will be made visible where reasonably possible.
12. Contact
Privacy questions and data requests go to support[at]camgirl.click — retype the [at] as a normal @; it is written that way to keep address-harvesting bots off it. General help is at CamGirl support.
Your Data, Your Pace
The practical version of this whole page: share gradually, and start with whatever format you are comfortable with. You can start an instant video chat on text or voice and never turn the camera on, or browse live cam girls and read a profile before you say anything at all.
